- sold 5 million copies. Tone-Loc (short for Tony Loco, which is
- a souped-up nickname for Tony Smith) says the percolating
- wordplay of rap comes easily. "Some days you get out of bed and
- things go through your mind. Most people don't write these down,
- but I do." Does he have a follow-up? "My new song is Funky Cold
- Medina," he says. "It's a drink that gets you in the mood for
- the Wild Thing."
