  8. belongs to . . . Tone-Loc, the rap singer whose Wild Thing has
  9. sold 5 million copies. Tone-Loc (short for Tony Loco, which is
  10. a souped-up nickname for Tony Smith) says the percolating
  11. wordplay of rap comes easily. "Some days you get out of bed and
  12. things go through your mind. Most people don't write these down,
  13. but I do." Does he have a follow-up? "My new song is Funky Cold
  14. Medina," he says. "It's a drink that gets you in the mood for
  15. the Wild Thing."
